Community Sound Bath with Jessica Wybenga

  • SoundEmbrace - Virtual (map)

Sound is a powerful tool for transformation. When we combine Sound + Community we cultivate self empowerment and find healing that transcends the challenges we currently face both individually and collectively.

About:

::::Sound On:::: was created for the SoundEmbrace Sound Healing Certification Program students to have their first group public sound session as their final project.

Danielle will introduce your practitioner and then "pass the mic" for them to lead you in a truly one of a kind experience. Every sound bath session will be different and unique to the guest practitioners topic and intention.

11:00am - 12:00pm PST
1:00pm - 2:00pm CST
2:00pm - 3:00pm EST

After the sound healing session we will stick around for a 30 minute Q & A.

Get the most out of our time together:

1. Find a comfortable quiet spot where you will not be disturbed (sitting or laying down - your pick!)

2. Get cozy! Grab a blanket, pillow, or eye mask

3. Have some water available so that you can hydrate after the experience

4. Headphones for optimal sound

5. Please note that your experience will also be determined by your internet connection.

6. Turn off notifications on your phone, device, or computer so you may fully immerse yourself in the experience.

Common Feedback from Sound Bath Experiences Include :

Reduced stress, anxiety, and depression, a calm mind and increased mental clarity, reduced pain, emotional release and clearing of emotional blockages, relaxation, better sleep, self discovery and transformation, and spiritual connection.

Description for this afternoons session:

Join Jess as she guides you through a sound bath that will leave you relaxed and more in tune with yourself. This a great opportunity to go inward and reset if you are feeling like you have not been able to slow down and connect with yourself. The session will provide a meditation and sound healing that will allow you to pull back your energy and create space for you to re-connect with your spirit. Come slow down and be bathed by the array of instruments and take back your energy.

Jessica Wybenga
Teaching intuitive ways to connect with yourself through yoga, meditation, and sound healing.”

Jess teaches intuitive ways to connect with yourself through yoga, meditation and sound healing.

Jess’ career started when she realized how disconnected she had become herself and it began to affect her physically and emotionally. She practiced yoga, meditation, and sound healing and found how she was able to re-connect with herself in a intuitive way. She was able to build a practice that suited her needs and made her more grounded. Soon realized she wanted to support others in their own healing journey.

With over a decade of work experience in creative roles, she decided to leave her corporate job and dive into creating a life that was in more alignment with herself and support the community around her.

Jess is a certified energy medicine practitioner from the Academy of Intuition Medicine, completed her 200 hr. teacher training in Vinyasa style yoga, a Restorative Yoga teacher training under Judith Lasater, and completed a Sound Healing certification.

Combining all of these modalities Jess is able to hold space for those looking to slow down and connect with themselves in ways that allow them to be free from self-doubt, anxiety, and grief.

She currently teaches yoga and facilities sound healing sessions in the Bay Area.
