Sound is a powerful tool for transformation. When we combine Sound + Community we cultivate self empowerment and find healing that transcends the challenges we currently face both individually and collectively.
About:
::::Sound On:::: was created for the SoundEmbrace Sound Healing Certification Program students to have their first group public sound session as their final project.
Danielle will introduce your practitioner and then "pass the mic" for them to lead you in a truly one of a kind experience. Every sound bath session will be different and unique to the guest practitioners topic and intention.
6:00pm - 7:00pm CST

Amanda Steady Founder of Steady Sound Flow
A path to healing using sound and movement to steady the mind.
Amanda, the founder of Steady Sound flow, has been in the business of helping take care of others for most of her life. From an early age she always wanted to help the ill or injured, and ran towards the emergency instead of away. She ultimately became a Registered Respiratory Therapist, graduating with honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in Cardiopulmonary Science. Her career has spanned over 20 years and brought her to Atlanta to work at Emory University Hospital Midtown in 2003. She is responsible for the breathing of adults and neonates in the hospital and has direct patient care experience for 22 years in trauma, surgery, burn, oncology, post operative care, open heart recovery, general ICU critical care and general medical/surgery patients as well as specialized airway management and ventilator management. She was a part of the frontline of the pandemic and knows firsthand what it has done to bedside clinicians and the workforce.
In 2015, after recovery from het own critical illness, Amanda began taking yoga classes and discovered the amazing physical and mental benefits of the practice. She completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training program from Veronica Lewinger of Integrative Flow yoga in January of 2020. A vinyasa training with heavy emphasis on anatomy and proper alignment, as well as the softness of trauma informed language and trauma sensitive practices for adults and youth. She completed the Love your Brain yoga and meditation training in 2020, a program that, now global, provides yoga and meditation at no cost to those who suffered a traumatic brain injury (and free to their caregivers!)
Amanda witnessed the power of sound healing in 2019 during yoga teacher training and was intrigued by its effects. She enrolled in a sound healing certification program in 2023. She is now a sound healing practitioner, completing the program with Danielle Hall of Sound Embrace! She is excited to share this knowledge and the profound benefits of sound healing. with clients from all walks of life.
