Ok, not literally! If you have ever assisted me then you know you get thrown into things. From day 1, Shana Nunnelly has been able to catch all the curve balls I have thrown at her. I think it’s really the only way to push you out of your comfort zone and gain the confidence to move through the fear.

I started a video podcast series to introduce you to the others contributing to the fundraiser, and so you could get a better sense of who I am, why you would want to support this effort and allow me to take you on this journey.
The first conversation I had was with the sweetest, brightest soul I know Angelica Arias Gurel . We talk about HER FIRST TIME and how it had impacted it her life.

On a plane headed to the Bay Area for a FULL work week. We are a week and a half away from the fundraiser and I find myself surprisingly calm despite the heavy TO DO list.
Everything is coming together. The flow feels really good... Here is a little “behind the scenes” of why this fundraiser is able to happen:
1. Christopher Wood will be stepping in for me to finalize the graphics on Wednesday.
2. Angelica Arias Gurel is storing 5 rugs, 200 hangers, and few other boxes.
3. Nicole Hall is updating content on my website, while Em is running errands all over town all week.
4. Mindful Mornings Atlanta and Modern Mystic Shop are actively handing out promo cards for the fundraiser.
5. Jamie Butler and Corey Dobyns are collecting Auction and Gift bag items.
6. Dr. Crystal Jones emailed me a list of her favorite personal quotes to share.
7. Videographer is secured for the event! LeeAnn! Wow... you beautiful soul!
8. Christina Wedge and The Click Box have coat check racks ON LOCK!
9. Brianne has my back with pack pick up!
10. And so many of you are sharing this event on your social media and by word of mouth to your friends and family!
As you can see... there are many people to thank for bringing this together. We are so close to 200! Will you share the event? Then I head out to the Bay Area on Saturday! (I know... right before the fundraiser!!??) We work with this amazing therapy center out there bringing sound healing to their kids once a week, the Resonant People Project. The first practitioner I hired to work with them is still working with them! 😉
Well, I am elated to share that Paradigm San Francisco is growing to the point where as of December, we are now offering 2 sound baths a week! I am excited to meet the new staff and the new house!
I also have a cool corporate client, Tophatter, I will meet for the first time in person and provide 3 sound baths for. Then, later in the week, I will get up to Petaluma to provide an experience for a women’s retreat called Soulstice Sisterhood produced by Ashley Burnett!
As you can see... we are working away right up until the end! But, HOLY COW! Something BIG is brewing for 2019. I can feel it!

I apologize; I don’t really have much to give to this post today. But I think that may be what I need to share. Some days are just like that. We literally don’t have more to give then what’s on the list of TO DO’s for that day. And that’s ok!

Lately, I’ve had quite a few people tell me how “Non Committal” Atlanta is.
Lately, I’ve had quite a few people tell me how “Non Committal” Atlanta is.
Well… I must be doing something right because 126 people (so far) have signed up for the epic sound bath fundraiser taking place at the Fernbank Science Center Planetarium, Wednesday, December 19th!
Someone asked me what the “secret sauce” was… I laughed and said, “I don’t know if there is a secret sauce, but I do know, that if you fill your cup first, you are more able to show up and help others. And I have been showing up for both, for years. Now, others have an opportunity to step in and support me in return.”
It’s not one thing.
It’s not one person.
There are several people who believe in this.
There are several people who believe in me.
I fell in love with Atlanta in 2000.
THIS was years in the making.

This day, and everyday, look into gratitude.
This day, and everyday, look into gratitude.
Gratitude is the walking of the talk. We are settling in to the time of year of warm wishes and lots of food. We are reminded of who and what we are grateful for, defining our desires and goals for the future, and slowing down (if for just a moment) to really look into someones eyes. It feels like a warm blanket has been put around us and we are smiling ear to ear with joy for simply being.
Are you in that feeling yet?
Take in this feeling.
Close your eyes.
Really feel it.
Savor it.
Take it with you.
Commit it to memory.
Because as we move through the season and excitement of our New Years resolutions we tend to loose sight of this feeling. We tend to loose sight of the abundance that surrounds us. We tend to forget what we are grateful for. So, take it in. All of it. And if you are not there just yet, look around for it. It's there waiting for you to embrace it.
This day, and everyday, look into gratitude. Happy Thanksgiving <3

I was asked to be a part of Westside Yoga Atlanta teacher training teaching the foundational principals of sound healing and going over different sound healing instruments. I love sharing this work. It makes me so incredibly happy!
Supporting people in relieving stress, reducing pain, and shifting perspectives so that they may empower themselves to live a life they love! = HAPPY!
But my work isn’t the only thing that makes me happy. Coffee, crystals, family, Satsang, nature, quiet time, kissing, candles, HUGS, puns, travel, colorful pens, baby’s laughter, eating other peoples cooking, beaches, and bowling also make me happy!
When we choose happiness to begin with, it’s easier to align with.

Kate’s Club is one of the non profit organizations we will be working with in 2019. “Kate's Club empowers children and teens facing life after the death of a parent or sibling. We build healing communities through recreational and therapeutic group programs, education, and advocacy.”
I went in to meet the program director and chat about what our involvement would like and then had a tour of the place. I have to say... there is so much love there. You can feel it! You walk off the elevator and feel the buzz of excited energy, and the children chatting and laughing.
I don’t mean to paint a picture where grief isn’t expressed. You can feel that energy too. But, the energy of a safe space where you can feel supported, feel love, have the opportunity to be expressed even if you don’t know yet how... you can actually FEEL that at Kate’s club.
I am so honored that they said YES! And that SoundEmbrace has the opportunity to support and co create that scared loving space for these kids to work through their feelings of grief.

Home is more than a place. It’s a feeling.
Home is more than a place. It’s a feeling.
There are many times I come back to this internal conversation around what HOME is. Is it a specific place? Specific people? Does it have a certain look? I have moved so many times in my life that I have found it has nothing to do with the particular place per say, but has everything to do with the FEELING.
Its this feeling of love, safety, belonging, connection, support, feeling expressed, vulnerability, joy, and expansion!
AND F*CK! I FEEEEEEEL that here. I FEEL all of that ATLANTA! Especially with this fundraiser! Holy cow! I mean… THIS! THIS IS what the fundraiser is about! HOME! The problems of the world can feel so big that we can loose sight of the impact we can make in our own backyard. Our own community. OUR OWN HOME!
Look at what we are doing TOGETHER!

This little human.
This little human.
I can’t begin to express the amount of love I have for my niece. I remember the first time I held that chunky baby... I was filled with so much joy it was spilling over in tears as she looked up at me with those beautiful blue eyes. She is 9 now. Still likes to cuddle. Likes to draw. I love that she dresses like a kid with My little pony graphic T-shirt’s (although, have YOU SEEN the Ponies lately! NOTHING like when we were kids! When did that change!?! 🤣), and she always has something new to show me like, Pokémon Go, or her latest headstand.
This last visit she made sure to reminded me that we ALL have the capability to turn darkness into love if we just remember we are all human... I asked her where she learned this and she said,”Everyone just knows this. They just forget sometimes. And in Sailor Moon, they use crystals to help do this, too.”
Although, I don’t necessarily see myself having kids, I love these hang outs that remind me that things can be.. and are, a lot simpler than we think. She also gave me another excuse to buy crystals! 💕🤗💕

This Sound Experience at Fernbank Science Center Planetarium is nothing Atlanta Georgia has ever seen. 5 sets of Quartz Singing Bowls, 5 Sound Healers, Deep ethereal sounds of Gongs and THE Starry Cosmos, above and around you! This event is not only Epic for your mind and Spirit but its also a fundraiser!
Yes a fundraiser with amazing gift bags and raffles from local business.
We have partnered with local nonprofits to provide Sound Healing for their organizations. These non-profits work with children who have experienced trauma.

Sound and First Graders!
Sound and First Graders!
This morning I had the opportunity to share with 4 first grade classes about sound and vibration!
They experienced bringing awareness to the difference of where they felt high versus low frequencies in the body and how lower frequencies are often felt lower and the higher frequencies are often felt higher.
We also breathed together so that they could learn how to be present to what they are feeling. I am blown away by their attention and curiosity. Such great questions! Their eyes literally LIT UP when they connected the dots!
The topper for the whole experience was when a teacher asked me if deaf people are affected and what would their experience be like. I shared with her that from my experience, the person was able to hear sound and feel the vibration as color. Next thing I knew she brought in 2 of her deaf students to experience the instruments! The two girls faces lit up with excitement! They both shared that they could hear and feel the sound. Their shock lingered in their faces until they left and I could see that this brought them so much joy!
This is why I do what I do. Beside the therapeutic benefits, this work brings out curiosity, and awareness so that one can empower themself!

Atlanta + San Francisco! Ready to make an impact?
Sound Healing Therapy is not going away anytime soon. Its catching on. The instruments are becoming more and more accessible. And the conversation is starting to be taken seriously. And I wouldn't be saying SERIOUSLY if I hadn't been excepted to take HSA + FSA payments! .
This is why I created the Sound Healing 101 class. I know you are ready make a difference, and Sound Healing is on the rise.
The media is talking about it. Hospitals are adopting new frequency technology for treatment. And we are hearing about it more and more within our communities.
With this new found buzz, we are seeing a wave of interest in new practitioners to the field. We are witnessing the growth of Sound Healing in classes, coaching/therapy sessions, and in music production. The danger, is that a lot of them are unaware of how sound affects the body and what they may be doing to their clients.
This class will empower you to create a session that supports your clients on their path to healing as well provide a foundation to speak on this work with confidence.
