Random Pile of Records

Random Pile of Records

I shared with a few people that I had a record player to start doing some intentional listening. The problem... I had no records. 😅

Next thing I knew they gave me a box, bags, piles of random records. 🤗

SO! With this generosity, I am of course going to listen to ALL OF THEM! The good, bad and the ugly! I am going to share them on my IG Story. I would love if you listened with me, if even for the few seconds they play. 👩🏼‍🎤

I’m open to receiving more random piles of records if you have them to give. Should be interesting! 🥰

What is Memorial Day, How is this different from Veterans Day, and What the HECK does any of this have to do with Sound Healing?

What is Memorial Day, How is this different from Veterans Day, and What the HECK does any of this have to do with Sound Healing?

Well, Memorial Day is celebrated on the last Monday of May to honor the men and women who have died while serving in the military.

Veterans Day is a day set aside to thank and honor all who serve or have served, both in wartime or peacetime, and whether they died or survived.

And now about that Sound Healing!

With the war brewing through the 1940s, there became more and more initiatives to help the soldiers continue fighting. With drafting numbers reaching close to 500,000, the Army along with other Defense institutions began to make military bands which would serve the purpose of boosting morale in the Home Front, while at the same time keeping Patriotism and Nationalism at an all-time high.

The point? Music is a fundamental part of our evolution.  Its evolution tells the story of where we have been, and where we currently are.

Imagine being in the hostile situation of fighting for our country.  Living in a space of uncertainty, gunfire, and death. Then, imagine that for a brief moment you close your eyes, take in the sounds of the military band and let it take you away somewhere, anywhere safe… this may be one way you use music, today. This is a form of Sound Healing.

Military Band.
Punk Band.
Rock Band.
Country Band.
Pop Band.
Sound Bath.

Music has the power to excite, inspire, and motivate.  And as we remember our fallen, we remember the music that brought pride, expressed anger, and instilled faith.
Sound is the release. The release is the healing.

See you at a sound bath soon!

ATL looking sharp, joyfully danced right up to NY with open arms, and with the biggest hug expressed “This is how we love.”

ATL looking sharp, joyfully danced right up to NY with open arms, and with the biggest hug expressed “This is how we love.” ATL represent! Last week was incredible, and mostly due to this group right here. What I loved most about Grammy week was the common thread of appreciation for those who have supported making a dream a reality. From a party to celebrate producers and engineers, warm hearted conversations at the Nominee’s, to the acceptance speeches, you could feel wave after wave of emotion of that. When dreams become a reality it’s not just about your own hard work, it’s also because of the minds and hands who have helped along the way! What a powerful tool music is to bring people together, to change mood and perspective, a powerful tool for healing and transformation! Having all the feels over here! (Pic from Matt Still)

45% percent of Americans say that poor or insufficient sleep affected their daily activities...

45% percent of Americans say that poor or insufficient sleep affected their daily activities at least once in the past seven days, according to the National Sleep Foundation’s inaugural Sleep Health Index™ Having trouble sleeping can have a wide-range of negative effects on your health, so it's something you should take seriously. For example, it makes you less safe behind the wheel and increases your long-term risk of medical conditions such as obesity and heart disease. (to name only a few!) Though medical sleep aids may work quickly to help you drift off, they can have awful side effects and aren't good to use long term. Luckily, there is another treatment for sleepless nights that's cheap, isn't habit-forming, and is non-invasive: Sound Healing Music.

Sound Healing Music has a direct effect on the parasympathetic nervous system, which helps your body relax and prepare for sleep. It also has the power to slow your heart rate and breathing, lower your blood pressure, and may trigger your muscles to relax. “The findings from the Sleep Health Index demonstrate a need for sleep health improvement,” said David Cloud, CEO of the National Sleep Foundation. “Sleep is an important factor in overall health. We suggest that Americans and their doctors talk about sleep as a vital sign of health and well-being.” If you would still like to donate to help create this sound healing app that will have an Insomnia section, you can through the link in the bio. I will be in the recording studio today! Make sure to watch my Instagram Live to see what's up! More on sleep! AND how the Soundembrace app will support your health journey to come!

Here it is!!!

Here it is!!!
Soundembrace Health is more than an app. This is a tool for transformation.

A new paradigm in health is surfacing and it requires technological innovation. Innovations that supports and empowers individuals.

I have a healthy discontent with the status quo and my mission is to bend and reshape your view on what life can actually be like. What it should be like. Pain free and filled with so much joy!

I am here today because I am asking you to see what I see. This vision is bigger than me and I need your help.

As you will learn from my fundraising page, the features of the app go beyond simply sharing the power of sound healing music. It takes into account Epigenetic's, so you can arial view of your health and well being.  This view, if you let it, will allow you to become AWARE of things that may be holding you back so that you can then EMPOWER yourself to make positive change.  The app will also have 2 min, 10 min, and 30 min sound healing sessions so that you can easily fit it into your day.  Relieve stress, reduce pain, elevate your meditation practice. BE YOUR OWN CATALYST FOR CHANGE.

Ways you can support!
1. Donate to this crowdfunding page.

2. Share the crowdfunding link through email, text, by a phone call to family and friends, share on Facebook, Instagram, and any other social media platform you enjoy.  Make it personal! Share how sound healing has helped you, how I have inspired you, and/or why you support this campaign.

You can even copy and paste the below text: "Sound Healing is a powerful tool for transformation relieving stress and reducing pain.  Join me in supporting my friend Danielle Hall in making sound healing accessible through her app! Its helped me, and I know it will help so many others!"

3.  Share the link to my upcoming events with your friends and family so they can experience it for them self!  In the month of September I have events in Atlanta, Philadelphia, San Francisco, San Rafael, Petaluma, and Los Angeles.
