gratitude

I may never know...

I may never know...

I may never know the depth of the impact from these sound bath experiences for these kids... but still so humbling to be a part of their journey.

Check out Kate’s Club to learn more about their mission. 💕

This day, and everyday, look into gratitude.

This day, and everyday, look into gratitude.

Gratitude is the walking of the talk. We are settling in to the time of year of warm wishes and lots of food. We are reminded of who and what we are grateful for, defining our desires and goals for the future, and slowing down (if for just a moment) to really look into someones eyes. It feels like a warm blanket has been put around us and we are smiling ear to ear with joy for simply being.

Are you in that feeling yet?

Take in this feeling.
Close your eyes.
Really feel it.
Savor it.
Take it with you.
Commit it to memory.

Because as we move through the season and excitement of our New Years resolutions we tend to loose sight of this feeling. We tend to loose sight of the abundance that surrounds us. We tend to forget what we are grateful for. So, take it in. All of it. And if you are not there just yet, look around for it. It's there waiting for you to embrace it.

This day, and everyday, look into gratitude. Happy Thanksgiving <3

The feelings are catching up with me

The feelings are catching up with me.

When I started working with Sound I knew that THIS would be the vehicle to help people feel safe in exploring the reflection they see in the mirror every day. To take an honest look and become curious. To take ownership of the part they play in their life. Sound would also be there for them to find empowerment. The last few days have shown me a lot about myself. If I didn’t believe it before, I believe it now down to the core of my soul. This is how I am meant to serve.

Saturday, was epic.
13 Sound Healers came together for my Sound Healing 101 class. I am so grateful and honored to have your trust in guiding you. You all bring something beautiful and unique to this work and I am so excited to witness what manifests next for you! I thank you for stepping into your truth because when you did, you provided the opportunity for me to step into mine. And the same for others.

Sunday, was other worldly.
I love working with 1 on 1. And though this experience will be kept private, again, I have to give immense gratitude for the trust bestowed upon me. Thank you for inviting me into your home and for allowing me to hold space for you and your family.

Monday, the cherry on top.
I feel like I am in a movie... I spent 1 day teaching the science, history, and application of sound in a therapeutic way, next to a day purely spiritual in nature, and then today creating a sound bath experience for Chik-Fil-A! Thank you for a room full of excited faces looking in to a new experience! My body is tired. My eyes are heavy, but my heart is full.

Time to unplug for a bit. I look forward to seeing you at a sound bath soon! May all your endeavors be blessed with the love and gratitude I have in my heart for the opportunity to serve you.

Insecurity.

My insecurity…

Insecurity is one of the major issues affecting relationships and more importantly, the relationship we have with ourselves. Feeling insecure can lead to anxiety, depression. Insecurity can prevent you from being open to new opportunities and going after your dreams.

One insecurity I find myself in constant conversation around is in finding a romantic partner who will accept me around my work in Sound Healing. Fully accepting my passion for helping people in this way, being excited for me in my BIG VISION, the need to be vulnerable and feel safe in sharing my experiences in feeling and seeing energy, and the need to retreat to nature to recharge… preferably with him.

Saying an affirmation is only a gateway to a mirror in which you look at yourself.  And I mean REALLY looking at yourself.  Becoming a witness to the belief systems in place and emotions around what is holding you back.

For me, saying “I am Secure” brought up a subconscious belief of my insecurity that I will not be loved or accepted by a romantic partner because the work I do is weird and so are my experiences. In asking myself more questions, I realized the experience that this belief is linked to, and that the feeling associated with it is of heart break, sadness, and feeling misunderstood.

What are ways you can empower yourself to feel more secure?

For me, its to date. It’s to share what I do unapologetically.
It's to show up and be visible! It’s to invite him in to an experience and see if he accepts. It’s to be me, unapologetically me, living in alignment of my truth even it makes someone else uncomfortable.  Living in alignment with your truth weeds out what you don’t want to make room for what you do want. But it starts with taking personal ownership and responsibility of the role you play.  Do this, a nd “I am Secure” will be come a way of life.

See you at a sound bath soon!

Deep down everyone wants to be a part of something special. Something that is shaping a better future. Something that gives us purpose. I want to say that this app is just the beginning... but the beginning happened way before me with people like Jonathan Goldman, Bruce Lipton, Dr.Mitchel Gaynor, and John Beaulieu! Heck! Let's also say Thomas Edison and Nicola Tessa!

As I move forward, "standing on the shoulders of giants", I would also like to acknowledge everyone who donated and shared about the crowdfunding. You are a part of something special. Thank you for lifting me up on your shoulders. Words can't even come close to express the gratitude I feel for you showing up for me in this way. But I also acknowledge that it may not be because of me at all... that it is because you have lived in pain, and have faith that this can be something great!

I'm going to take a break today...have some ice cream, take a walk, rest for a bit, and allow it all to sink in. Tomorrow, I will wake up refreshed and ready to move through the content for the next stages of app development. This is so exciting!

It's my last few hours in SF. The tour is over. I'm sitting in one of my favorite cafes thinking about the trip. Taking in what I have accomplished. Letting what I have learned about myself during this time settle. After a month away, it will be nice to sleep in my own bed, laugh with my housemates, and have a home cooked meal. More to share soon. But for now, it feels like a time to sit with everything with gratitude.

The crowdfunding page has launched (link in bio!) people are sharing it! People are donating! And I am beyond grateful! Thank you for believing in me and this project. It's.. just incredible. There is still so much do but it's like I have found some secret well of energy and happiness that just keeps me moving forward. If you have not experienced a sound bath or the therapeutic power of sound in this way, this month I have events in a few cities for you to check it out and experience it for yourself. If you are in Atlanta I have one tonight!

39 more days of the campaign to go! I look forward to hugging it out with you soon!
